Terms of service
The terms for using this website, the live demo and the guides, and, when they open, real mosque accounts.
About these terms
These terms are between you and Mouliqe LLC (“we”, “us”), the company that makes Ahsan, [company postal address]. They cover this website, the live demo, the guides and the prayer timetable maker, and real mosque accounts when they open.
When real accounts open, the person who opens an account agrees to these terms for the mosque, and confirms that they are allowed to. What we keep and why is in the privacy policy.
Where things stand
Ahsan opens to mosques on November 15, 2026. Until then, the live demo is open to everyone, and the launch email and Founding Mosque forms keep only what you type into them, as the privacy policy describes. The sections marked planned describe how mosque accounts will work.
The live demo
- The demo is a private copy of a made-up sample mosque, for seeing how Ahsan works. It lasts 24 hours, and you can start over at any time.
- Use made-up details only. Don’t type real people’s names, contact details or children’s details into the sample mosque.
- Payments in the demo are test payments, and no messages leave it.
- Please don’t try to get around its limits, such as the bot check or the number of copies a day, or use it to send anything to anyone.
- We may change, pause or reset the demo at any time.
The guides and the prayer timetable maker
The guides are general information about running a mosque’s office. They aren’t legal, financial or religious advice: check anything important with your accountant, your lawyer or the mosque’s scholars.
The prayer timetable maker is a calculation. A mosque’s own timetable decides its prayer times, and local moon-sighting decides when each month begins, so check a timetable against the mosque’s own before you print or share it.
Real mosque accounts (planned)
- Who can open one. Someone the mosque has authorised, such as a board member or the treasurer.
- What the mosque looks after. That its records are accurate; that it has the right to keep each person’s details and to send them messages; that children’s records are kept with the permission the law asks for; that each person gets only the role they need; and that its people keep their sign-in details to themselves.
- What we look after. Running Ahsan, keeping each mosque’s records private to that mosque, following its instructions, and telling it promptly if something goes wrong with its records. [The notice period after a data breach: for the lawyer]
- The mosque’s records stay the mosque’s. It can download every list as a spreadsheet at any time, including when it leaves.
Messages the mosque sends
Emails and texts a mosque sends through Ahsan, such as receipts, reminders and announcements, are the mosque’s own messages. The mosque is responsible for having permission to send them under the laws where its members live. Reminders go out only when someone at the mosque sends them.
Payments (planned)
- Card payments go to the mosque’s own Stripe account. The mosque has its own agreement with Stripe and is the merchant for every payment. Ahsan never holds the money.
- Refunds, receipts and the tax rules for gifts are the mosque’s to decide and follow. Ahsan helps with the paperwork, such as year-end statements, and the mosque checks their wording with its own adviser.
What it costs
What a real account will cost hasn’t been set. [Fees, billing and refunds: to be set before accounts open]
Fair use
- Don’t use Ahsan to break the law, to send messages people haven’t agreed to receive, to upload anything harmful, or to get into records that aren’t yours.
- Don’t copy, resell or take apart the software, except where the law allows it.
Who owns what
The mosque owns its records. We own the software, this site and the Ahsan name. If you send us a suggestion, we may use it to improve Ahsan without owing anything for it.
Keeping Ahsan running
We work to keep the website, the demo and Ahsan running, but we can’t promise they will never be interrupted or never contain a mistake. We will tell mosques ahead of planned changes that affect how they work. [How much notice: for the lawyer]
Ending
- A mosque can close its account at any time and take its records with it.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaks these terms, with notice where we can give it. [How much notice: for the lawyer]
- After an account closes, its records are deleted after [retention period: not set].
Liability
[The disclaimers, and the limit of our liability: for the lawyer]
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by [governing law]. [Where disputes are heard, and any rules for mosques in other countries: for the lawyer]
Changes to these terms
We will post changes here with a new date, and tell mosques with real accounts before a change takes effect. [How much notice: for the lawyer]

Still to decide
Before these terms come into force, a lawyer and Mouliqe LLC decide each of these:
- The effective date, the company’s postal address and the contact email.
- The governing law, and where disputes are heard.
- The disclaimers and the limit of liability.
- Fees, billing and refunds.
- Notice periods: for changes, for closing an account and after a data breach.
- How long a closed account’s records are kept.
