How we handle the mosque's data
Plain facts about the mosque's records in Ahsan: who owns them, who can see them, and where the money goes.

The mosque owns its data
The records belong to the mosque, not to us. The mosque can export every list, from households and gifts to members and students, as a spreadsheet at any time, including if it ever leaves.

Each person sees only what their role needs
The treasurer sees the money, a teacher sees their own classes, and a parent sees their own children. An activity log shows who changed what, and every download of a list is recorded.

- Children's records are restrictedThey open only for the people named for them, and never appear on a public page.
- Help requests and ballots stay privateHelp requests open only for the board admin and the treasurer. A ballot's receipt code isn't linked to the voter's name.
- Payments go to the mosqueWhen online giving opens, card payments go straight to the mosque's own Stripe account. Ahsan never holds the money.
- No ads, and no selling dataNot on this website, not in the demo and not in Ahsan.
- The demo uses made-up dataThe sample mosque is invented, and its copies are deleted after 24 hours.
- The policies are being finalizedThe privacy policy and terms are drafts for a lawyer's review and will be final before accounts open.
See who can open what
The demo lets you switch between six people and see exactly what each one can see.
